Dr. Sandra Stroud OD., owner of Elegant Eyewear, is a practicing Optometrist in Pasco and Pinellas Counties. She was thrilled to establish her private Optometry practice here in 1999 due to her love for the state of Florida.
Dr. Sandra Stroud practiced her residency at the Yale/New Haven VA Medical Center and from that experience she gained a solid foundation to face very challenging ocular conditions like diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, retinitis pigmentosa, macular degeneration, optic atrophy, degenerative corneal conditions, etc. Dr. Stroud’s patients come to her with various stages of the conditions above. With her experience at Yale/New Haven VA Medical Center, she understands the progression and treatment of her patients’ conditions and also possesses the ability to enhance the remaining vision of those patients with end-stage disease resulting in low vision.
Dr. Sandra Stroud is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Lions Club, the West Pasco Chamber, the Tarpon Springs Chamber and MENSA.
